Cabinet began with a bold vision: to offer direct-to-consumer, FDA-approved medicine at a fair price, with transparency at its core. Otherway was tasked with creating the original brand, developing the brand name, Cabinet, which would go on to encapsulate the brand’s ethos and mission. We went on to craft an identity that redefined the category and delivered on Cabinet’s promise of making getting better, better.
Since then, we’ve continued our partnership with founders Russ and Achal to evolve the brand into something far more ambitious — the world’s first fully sustainable healthcare company.
We worked with the Cabinet team to develop their brand into one that represents both innovation and sustainability. We needed to highlight the company’s deep commitment to reducing waste and transforming the healthcare industry, while ensuring the design felt authentic, contemporary, and approachable.
The design system was developed to emphasise clarity, simplicity, and trust, while aligning with Cabinet’s commitment to sustainability. We began by imagining the brand’s visual language to reflect its mission. Rather than relying on the typical artificial, clinical design elements commonly seen in the pharmaceutical industry, we saw an opportunity to create a more emotive brand that feels like it proudly belongs in your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
In collaboration with product design and engineering teams, Michael Bambino and Branch Creative, we helped Cabinet translate their evolving vision into a cohesive brand experience. The new packaging is a reflection of Cabinet’s commitment to sustainability — functional, beautiful, and designed to last.
